We’re dropping in for our pre-Christmas Hollow Knight update. Lots going on (and lots still kept underwraps!) so let’s get into it.

Playable Hornet Update
The past few months have been a whirlwind for Team Cherry. We’ve been hard at work with PS4, Xbox One launches, recovering from the huge Godmaster update, and getting Hornet ready. We’re aching to reveal Hornet to you all, but! things are still in pieces at the moment so we’re going to hold off until we can give her the full reveal she deserves.
Saying that, folks may remember this early tease for a deadly backer boss and Hornet rival. Who is this nefarious foe? We want to take this moment to properly introduce you to Steel Assassin Sharpe!
Sharpe is a hunter from a distant land. He’s tasked with eliminating Hornet and he’s not come alone. Sharpe brings companions on his deadly quest. Who are they? And why are they pursuing Hornet? We’ll leave you to guess at their full nature. Just know, Hornet’s gonna be fighting for her life against this highly trained trio.
Sharpe is a Kickstarter boss from Jaspal Boodram. Jaspal proposed an assassin bug with a whip-like nose and several other unique talents. And remember! All other backer bosses (and backer dungeons) will be landing alongside playable Hornet.
12 Days of Hollowmas!

To celebrate the Christmas season, the community is hosting a daily giveaway leading up to Christmas. They’ve a bunch of snazzy prizes including keys, vinyls, prints and plushes. We’ve contributed a few things to the prize pile, but this is all lead by the passionate crew over there and their enthusiasm for Hollow Knight! Happy Hollowmas Discord!

We have to give a special spotlight to this one: Plush Hornet! Thanks to the folks at Fangamer, Hornet’s been immortalised in squishy, fabric form. Hallownest’s protector has never looked so cute!
As though that wasn’t enough, Fangamer’s also extended their pin set, which is now available as a 4-pack (We just found that out by googling!). What a great way to get the whole HK cast riding about with you on your hat, or bag, or lapel!
Hollow Knight: God’s & Nightmares, the second LP release for Hollow Knight is now out!. If you pre-ordered, expect your copy soon (if it hasn’t arrived already). Our friends at Ghost Ramp did an incredible job on this one. It’s a super stylish piece of music/art. Worth noting, the original Hollow Knight LP has had a second printing! The first run flew off’ve Ghost Ramps shelves, so a huge thanks to everyone who picked it up.
Fan Art Focus
To wrap up, we’re putting the spotlight on just one talented creator. Artist -KTSN- has been quietly producing an exceptional suite of Hollow Knight fan art, comics, including a full animated HK intro! Just check out this giant Godmaster Celebration! It’s so epic. We love it!

Gang! That’s it. That’s all from us till 2019. It’s been an enormous year for Team Cherry and for Hollow Knight. We can barely believe it’s been almost 2 years since launch. What a crazy, huge saga. We can’t wait to finish it all off with Hornet and the final backer content, and we can’t wait to reveal everything else we’ve been cooking (Phwoar! so much stuff!).
